The scheduling of our First Constitutional Convention and our stance toward a number of national mobilizations and protests are on the agenda of the Central Committee of the Workers Party in America when it meets over the weekend of April 3-4, 2010. The calling of our first convention represents the closing of the first chapter of the Party, as we move from our initial formative stage to that of an established political party. Tentatively, the First Constitutional Convention is scheduled to be held over the July 4 weekend. As well, the C.C. will be discussing the Party’s stance toward a number of scheduled national mobilizations and protests coming up. Members interested in attending, and anyone wanting to submit something for the C.C. to consider, should contact the National Office. |
