The Workers Party in America is once again preparing for the annual International Workers’ Day celebrations and protests in defense of immigrant workers’ rights. The Party will once again make available master copies of our annual statement and sign designs in advance of May 1. Members, supporters and friends are encouraged to download these items from our website when they become available and utilize them. The signs this year will be the same as some of those used last year. The focus will be on fighting for full citizenship rights for all working people, regardless of whether they are recognized as “legal” or “illegal” by the capitalist state. The signs will be available in both English and Spanish; other languages are available on request from the National Office. Both the statement and the sign masters will be available on the Party’s website in the last week of April. Comrades needing the masters sooner should contact the National Office. |
