WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 — A multi-part series in the New York Times, the leading mouthpiece of the American ruling class, is signaling that a new “jobless recovery” is in the works.

Quoting economists tied into the capitalist class and sources at the Department of Labor, the Times article seeks to dampen any possible hopes among working people that they will be able to return to the standard of living they once had.

Nearly 3 million jobless workers are expected to lose their unemployment insurance checks this coming April if Congress does not approve another extension of benefits.
